File Management Limitation

What This Means

  • Uploaded audio files are stored permanently
  • There is no "Files" or "Storage" section in the Base44 dashboard
  • Files cannot currently be deleted through the app or dashboard
  • This is a platform limitation, not an app limitation

Since files cannot be deleted, here are some tips:

  • Only upload audio when you're ready to analyze a final performance
  • Avoid uploading multiple test recordings of the same lick
  • Use high-quality recordings to get the best analysis results
  • Keep track of which files you've uploaded for analysis
How the Analysis Works

When you upload an audio file for analysis:

  1. The file is uploaded to your app's secure file storage
  2. A permanent URL is generated for the file
  3. This URL is sent to Replicate AI's MT3 transcription model
  4. The AI analyzes pitch, timing, notes, and musical elements
  5. Professional feedback is generated based on the transcription

Your Replicate credits are used for each transcription to provide professional-grade music analysis.
